The product's molecular structure contains active groups with strong chelating ability towards metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. It can effectively control the precipitation and deposition of common scale types like calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate in membrane separation systems. It can interfere with the growth of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate crystals, making them loose and easily carried away by water flow, thereby preventing scale from depositing on pipes and equipment. It extends the cleaning cycle of reverse osmosis systems, increases water production and water quality, and reduces operating costs. At the same time, the active groups in the molecule can form a dense protective film on the metal surface, effectively preventing the erosion of corrosive media such as O2 and Cl-, demonstrating excellent corrosion inhibition. 
The product also has a certain degree of surface activity, which is conducive to dispersion and penetration in water treatment systems. It has good chemical stability under acidic or neutral conditions and superior resistance to chlorine oxidation. This product is particularly suitable for reverse osmosis systems in seawater desalination.
