Seadei2217 bactericide and algaecide is a new type of bactericide. Through toxicity tests, various-scale bactericidal and algaecidal tests, multiple influencing factor tests, and tests on combined application with various water treatment agents, it has been proven that Seadei2217 bactericide and algaecide features high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity, and good water solubility.
This product is the successor of 1227. It has a thorough bactericidal effect, low foam, and superior performance to isothiazolinone (Seadei2210). It does not contain benzene derivatives, causes no secondary pollution, and is environmentally friendly. It has good stability, is easy to use, and has a long-lasting effect. Its bactericidal effect is not affected by the water injection temperature in oil fields (20°C to 65°C). It has a significant bactericidal effect on sulfate-reducing bacteria, heterotrophic bacteria, and fungi. It has a good stripping effect on biofilms and adherents on equipment and pipelines. This product can be used as a bactericide and algaecide and a biofilm stripper in industrial water for chemical, fertilizer, oil refining, oil fields, metallurgy, power generation, and other industries. It is particularly suitable for use in weakly alkaline water. Additionally, it has a certain corrosion inhibition effect on metal equipment and pipelines in industrial circulating cooling water systems.
